ABOUT US

Monmouth-Ocean Neurology opened in 1988 through the dedicated efforts of its founding partner, Alan Colicchio M.D. With thriving practices now in both Neptune and Brick New Jersey, we continue to serve the Monmouth and Ocean counties with both pride and excellence. All physicians at Monmouth-Ocean Neurology are Board Certified in Neurology, and offer years of extensive experience, Fellowship training, knowledge in the latest neurologic technologies, and compassion in addressing your neurologic care and treatment.

Physicians at Monmouth-Ocean Neurology are on staff at both Jersey Shore University Medical Center and Ocean Medical Center and are active members of both its JCAHO-certified Primary and Comprehensive stroke centers. Members of the practice also chair the neurology departments at both hospitals, oversee their neurodiagnostic and intra-operative laboratories, head multiple committees, run their ALS clinic, participate in Meridian Neuroscience research programs, and supervise their nationally-recognized stroke program.

Monmouth-Ocean Neurology is dedicated to the teaching of the next generation of physicians. Doctors within the practice mentor medical students and residents and are on the teaching staff at Rutgers Medical School.

The offices at Monmouth-Ocean Neurology offer extensive and state of the art neurodiagnostic testing including EEGs, Ambulatory/Video EEGs, NCS/EMGs, Evoked Potentials, Transcranial Dopplers, Vestibular Nystagnograms (VNG), small-fiber nerve biopsies, and Botox administration. We also offer intra-operative monitoring for surgeries within both Jersey Shore University Medical Center and Ocean Medical Center.
